Heinze calls Premiership panel

Heinze calls Premiership panel

07 August 2007 - 11:26

Gabriel Heinze of Man Utd is to take his case to a Premiership panel of arbitration. Heinze is keen to jump ship from Man Utd to Liverpool who have tabled a bid of £7m for the Argentina defender. This fee did meet Man Utd's requirements.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • United understandably, are refusing to let the Argentine leave for one of their closest rivals despite matching their asking price for the defender. However, Heinze feels this is unfair and a 3 man panel will review Heinze's case in the near future; it is unlikely that the panel will rule in Heinze's favour.

Heinze has also been linked with moves back to Italy with Juventus and Milan; but Liverpool could be his preferred destination.
