Wesley Sneijder agrees new Gala deal

Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder has agreed to sign a new contract to keep him at Galatarsaray until the summer of 2018.

The experienced playmaker has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons.

However, he has decided to stay put with the Turkish side for whom he joined from Inter Milan in 2013.

Gala have now announced that the player has agreed to a contract extension, and a signing ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Sneijder has scored 37 goals in 111 games for his club till date.
