Espanyol after Bianchi

Espanyol after Bianchi

09 January 2008 - 19:35

Man City striker Rolando Bianchi is reportedly wanted by La Liga side Espanyol. The Spanish side are keen to add another striker to their squad, and whilst Sven-Goran Eriksson has insisted the Italian has a future, a bid of £5 million may twist the Swede's arm.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Reports have emanated in the press that he is homesick and wants to return back to Italy have only increased the speculation that Bianchi could leave.

The Barcelona-based outfit are having a superb season and are currently third in the league, but adding more players to their squad is hot on the agenda.

Coach Ernesto Valverde is keen to partner Bianchi with the prolific Raul Tamudo to form a superb strike force.
