Italian giants AS Roma are thought to be planning a January move for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, according to reports.
The Capital outfit were said to have made a loan bid for the France international over the summer, but the Reds rebuffed the offer as they lacked sufficient back-up in their backline.
Sakho has since then gone on to sign a new four-year contract at Anfield, but that has not stopped the Serie A side from plotting a new approach in the New Year, Corriere dello Sport reports.
The 25-year-old has made over 50 appearances for the Reds following his move from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013.
