De Silvestri admits Juve offer

Lorenzo De Silvestri has admitted that he received an offer from Juventus recently. The Lazio defender is one of the big up and coming players in the league. Juventus had been linked with a £6 million move for the under-21 international.

De Silvestri is one of the most interesting young players in Italy and is impressing all the pundits in Serie A.



"He (Ranieri) called me to know what my contract situation was," revealed De Silvestri. "Until November I was earning 18k Euros per year, but now I signed for two further years.



"Signing the new agreement with Lazio only until 2010 was my choice as I like challenging myself."
