Momo Sissoko ready for Juve

09 January 2008 - 19:57

Juventus are ready to make a move for Liverpool's midfielder Momo Sissoko. The Malian international has fallen out of favour at Anfield, and Sissoko is keen to join Juve as Rafa Benitez sees no future for the midfielder.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Sissoko apparently has made up his mind to leave the Merseysiders in the ongoing transfer window, but the Reds are yet to get a formal offer.

Sissoko told French radio: “I hope they can find an agreement. I am really happy that a club like Juventus want me. Right now, I want a new challenge.

“The last few months with Liverpool have not gone as I wanted. But this is the nature of football and I now have the chance to go somewhere else and show what I can do.”
