Premier League giants Manchester City have completed the shock capture of Australian footballer Luke Brattan on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old has been on the search for a new club following his release from Brisbane Roar over the summer.
The Citizens are thought to have scouted the player while playing against their sister club Melbourne City, and it is now confirmed that he will link up with the Mancunian giants on a long-term deal.
Brattan has been sent on loan to Championship side Bolton Wanderers until the New Year in the quest to provide him with needed first-team experience in the English game.
