Mile Sterjovski is moving a step closer to Derby County. The Australian international currently plays for Genclerbirligi and has played in midfield for the full international side.
"He will have to go back to Turkey to get his work permit, so there's no chance of him featuring this weekend.
"We are hoping the lad has arrived today from Turkey and we can get things done." Jewell said.
"He played in the World Cup for Australia wide right but can play up front too.
"He has good energy and is a good footballer and I'll be pleased to have him because he can add something to the team."
