Liverpool are set to make a January move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Stefan Kiessling, The Express reports.
The 31-year-old has spent more than a decade with the Bundesliga outfit, and is now regarded as one of the club's all-time greats.
According to The Express, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been a huge admirer of the striker since his time at Borussia Dortmund.
It is added that German coach will seek to lure Kiessling to a new league when the transfer window reopens in 2016.
Reds chief Ian Ayre has recently stated that Klopp will have the final say on all transfer proceedings for the New Year.
