Serie A high flyers Inter Milan are reportedly keen on sealing a pre-contract agreement for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The 31-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge, and there have not been any kind of talks regarding an extension.
According to The Mirror, Inter boss Roberto Mancini is eager to bring in fresh faces in the New Year as he seeks to lodge a strong challenge for the league title in the second half of the campaign.
It is added that Serbian international Ivanovic may be temped to sign a pre-contract agreement with the Nerazzurri, with the Blues in no mood to discuss over a new deal following their early season disaster.
Chelsea have made a dismal start to their league campaign, and are currently in 16th place with just points.
