Arsene Wenger and Roque Santa Cruz have been awarded the manager of the month and player of the month gongs respectively in the Premiership. Wenger has helped Arsenal continue their fight at the top of the Premiership whilst Roque Santa Cruz has been in stunning form.
Wenger's Arsenal picked up an impressive fourteen points in December and after a fine start to January, they sit at the top of the Premier League, two points clear of Man United. Arsenal picked up some memorable results including a victory over Chelsea.
Roque Santa Cruz scored six goals in December including a hat-trick during Blackburn's 5-3 defeat to Wigan. Santa Cruz joined Rovers for £3.5 million from Bayern Munich.
