Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera is set for crunch talks with manager Louis van Gaal regarding his future at Manchester United.
The 26-year-old linked up with the Mancunian giants in 2014, with the view to being a regular in the starting line-up.
However, his career has gone on a downward spiral with Van Gaal opting to play him mostly from the substitutes' bench.
According to The Star, Herrera believes that his progress has been stifled at Old Trafford, and may well seek fresh pastures elsewhere.
Spanish champions Barcelona are thought to be monitoring the player's developments in recent months.
