Norwich City manager Alex Neil has insisted that the club have no intention of offloading striker Cameron Jerome in the winter transfer window.
The 29-year-old played a huge part in the Canaries' promotion to the Premier League last season.
Jerome has remained a regular under Alex Neil this campaign, but reports have suggested that Championship side Middlesbrough could launch an £8m bid for his services.
However, Neil has dismissed the speculation by claiming that the player remains an important part of their plans for the season.
"Cameron is one of our strikers who has played quite a lot of games for us," he told reporters, "He is an important part of the squad for us."
Jerome has notched two goals in 14 league outings this term.
