Nicolas Anelka has spoken of his excitement and honour at joining Chelsea from Bolton yesterday after completing a £15 million deal. The French striker believes Chelsea's style of football suits his game and is looking forward to fighting for a first-team place.
"Chelsea are a big club," stated Anelka. "I have proved that I can score goals at the top level and I can do the same for Chelsea.
"I want to tell the Chelsea fans that I see this as a great opportunity and an honour to play for Chelsea and I will not disappoint them."
