Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthur has insisted that he will not entertain talks over a January exit from Selhurst Park.
The Scotland international joined the Eagles from Wigan Athletic in 2014, and has since then played a key role in the club's progress in the Premier League.
Recent speculation had suggested that the Gunners could make a swoop for the efficient midfielder following a long-term set-back to Francis Coquelin.
However, McCarthur is content plying his trade at South London, and has no thoughts of leaving the club in the near future.
"I'm not going to listen to the rumours. I am just going to go about my job at Crystal Palace, because I am really enjoying my football," he told the Surrey Mirror.
The 28-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Eagles this season.
