Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to revive their interest in West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.
The Burundian-born striker had been the subject of multiple bids from Spurs last summer, but the Baggies were firm in their bid to keep hold of their star asset.
Berahino has since then failed to make an impression in a Baggies shirt, and this has led to claims that he may seek a fresh challenge in the New Year.
Sky Sports News says Spurs are reluctant to lodge a January bid for the 22-year-old following his struggles in the Premier League this season.
It is added that the North Londoners are still keen on signing an attacking player, and will pursue other options during next month's transfer window.
Spurs are currently fourth in the league standings with 29 points.
