Manchester City are eyeing a shock swoop for highly-rated Liverpool forward Jerome Sinclair.
The 19-year-old has made just three senior appearances for the Reds in spite of being highly rated by the club's backroom staff.
Sinclair is in the final six months of his contract, and the striker is in no mood to extend his stay an Anfield.
According to The Mirror, City will look to acquire the player's services on a cut-price deal in January as they aim to increase the number of homegrown players in their squad.
City are currently third in the Premier League, three points adrift of leaders Arsenal.
