Blackburn Rovers have deny making an offer for Jason Koumas of Wigan, and fellow countryman Mark Hughes - known to be an admirer of Koumas - has revealed that the club hold no long-term interested in acquiring Koumas.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • There had been a series of press speculation in England that Blackburn manager Mark Hughes was keen on signing the player with whom he had worked when he was in charge of the Wales national team not so long ago, but Hughes has now dismissed any such speculation.

The Blackburn Rovers manager told The Daily Star: "There’s obviously speculation because obviously I’ve worked with him before I think he’s a talented boy, but we’ve not made a bid for Jason Koumas."

Koumas has performed quite admirably in the relegation threatened side and it is no surprise several clubs are interested in him.
