According to The Star, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up a £20m bid for the talented marksman as he seeks to add more firepower to his title-chasing side during the second half of the campaign.
However, it will be interesting to see whether Watford would accept any kind of deal, considering the hefty financial package awaiting them next season.
