Arsenal are said to be planning a shock move for Watford skipper Troy Deeney.
The 27-year-old has been a consistent performer for the Hornets in recent years, and played an important role alongside Odion Ighalo to bring the club back to the English top tier last term.
According to The Star, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up a £20m bid for the talented marksman as he seeks to add more firepower to his title-chasing side during the second half of the campaign.
However, it will be interesting to see whether Watford would accept any kind of deal, considering the hefty financial package awaiting them next season.
Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League with 42 points.
