Bundesliga strugglers Stuttgart are reportedly considering a winter move for Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji.

  • The Senegal international joined the Blues from Nantes in the summer, and has since then struggled to earn any playing time at the club.

According to French publication L'Equipe, Stuttgart look to have earmarked the central defender as the ideal fit to solve their league crisis.

It is added that the club are likely to propose an 18-month loan contract for the 27-year-old, who has also caught the eye of French outfit Marseille.

Stuttgart currently find themselves above the relegation zone on virtue of goal difference.
