John Terry to earn new Chelsea deal?

18 January 2016 - 12:07

Chelsea club captain John Terry has impressed fitness staff at Stamford Bridge so much this season that the former England captain could earn a new contract beyond the 2015-16 season. The 35-year-old scored an equalising goal during the 3-3 draw with Everton last week.

  • Man Utd star to sign new contract in next 24 hours
  • Napoli & Atletico want to sign Man Utd star for £24m

  • Terry, who has served Chelsea for his entire career, is said to be in some of the best fitness of his life in recent months and the Blues could now make the centre back a new offer.

Despite the lure of America and the Middle East, it is said that Terry wants to stay in England and stay a one club man. Former Chelsea star Frank Lampard has told his best friend that he is desperate for him to move to the States as well; but Terry has told colleagues at Chelsea that he will be trying his best to earn a new deal with last season's Premier League champions.
