Macky Bagnack wanted by Stoke City

Stoke City are reportedly in talks with Barcelona regarding a transfer for Cameroonian youngster Macky Bagnack. The centre back, who has been with Barcelona since 2008, could join the Potters on a loan deal until the end of the season.

  • Bagnack has played for Cameroon twice and has been desperate to force his way into Barcelona's first team side, but has yet to make the step up to the 'A' team.

    It is understood that Luis Enrique is very impressed with what he has seen of the youngster so far, though, and now Bagnack could spend the next six months in England. Stoke City have a long standing association with Barca, having taken on several former players of the Catalan side; including the likes of Bojan, Ibrahim Affelay and Marc Muniesa.
