Sven-Goran Eriksson has revealed he has met with Man City owner Thaksin Shinawatra to discuss potential transfer targets for the remainder of the January transfer window.
"I spoke to him and we will see what happens," said the Swedish coach.
"We are working on things and hopefully they will happen but it must do so soon because January is soon over."
Man City are believed to be in the market for a striker, after not scoring enough goals in recent weeks in the Premiership. Eriksson quipped: "We have to create more chances and that is a little bit of a problem that has been hanging around us all season."
