Espanyol defender Dani Jarque is reportedly in London today to discuss a move to Tottenham. Juande Ramos has been an admirer of the defender for some time and is ready to make an official move for the player.

Jarque came up the ranks of the Espanyol youth system, making his debut for the 'B' team in 2002, and graduating to the senior team two years later.



Jarque has been linked with a move to Tottenham since before Juande Ramos was in charge, and the defender is regarded as one of the brightest up and coming prospects in La Liga.



A fee of £3 million has been suggested for the Espanyol player.
