Arsenal are eager to land the services of Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell before the transfer deadline.
The 19-year-old had been the subject of a £3.2m bid from the Gunners over summer, but the Foxes were not keen on his sale.
Chilwell has since then had an impressive showing with Huddlesfield on loan, and recently returned to his parent club.
According to Metro, the North London giants are hopeful that they can sign the versatile full-back before the transfer window closes on Monday night.
The Gunners are said to be willing to pay as much as £4m for the England under-20 international.
Chilwell has the potential to play at either left-back or right-back.
