Blackburn want Amdy Faye

Blackburn want Amdy Faye

14 January 2008 - 16:12

Unsettled Rangers midfielder Amdy Faye is reportedly the subject of interest from Blackburn. Mark Hughes could make an offer for a six-month loan (who is owned by Charlton) for the midfielder with a view to a permanent move.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Mirror reported that the Senegalese midfielder is due to arrive at Ewood Park this week for a trial under Mark Hughes.

The departure of Robbie Savage has left a hole in the middle of Rovers' midfield, and Faye could be the man to fill the gap.

The player is likely to cut short his spell at Rangers if guaranteed some football at Blackburn.
