Manchester United are expected to lodge a formal offer for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer.
The Poland international has been in fine form for the Bavarian giants over the past year, and this has attracted interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
However, according to The Sun, the Mancunian giants are also interested in the talented marksman, and could come up with a substantial offer at the end of the current campaign.
Lewandowski is said to be eager on a fresh challenge away from the Bundesliga.
The 27-year-old has netted over 50 goals for Bayern following his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2014.
