03 February 2016 - 06:21

England international Jamie Vardy will reportedly earn a contract extension at Leicester City following his excellent showing in the Premier League this season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • The 29-year-old has been in top form for the table-toppers this campaign, and this has caught the eye of top Premier League clubs.

According to The Telegraph, Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri wants to keep hold of his star man beyond the current season, and looks set to offer him with a new three-year contract on wages of around £60,000-a-week.

It is added that Vardy would accept the deal with open arms, given the Foxes' chances of lifting the league title this season.

Vardy scored a brace as his side trumped Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
