Klaas-Jan Huntelaar was the subject of three Premiership scouts at the weekend for Ajax, as Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City all ran the rule over the Dutch international striker as he grabbed two goals in a 6-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar.

  • Man Utd are already close to making a huge offer for the Dutch striker. Huntelaar, 24, has been capped nine times by his country and has an impressive 55 goals from just 66 appearances for Ajax.



    If Ajax are to cash in on their prize asset, Premiership sides may have to pay as much as £15 million to land the striker many have already labelled the 'new Ruud van Nistelrooy'.
