Derby have been given a stern warning from Leeds manager Dennis Wise for top striker Jermaine Beckford.
Beckford has been in irresistable form for Leeds scoring 16 goals already in League One, and has already caught Ram's boss Paul Jewell's eye.
"We're a bigger club than Derby. OK, we're in League One, but why would he want to go there?
"If you're talking about the big four or five then it's a bit different, but at the moment I'm not prepared to let him go to a place like Derby," Wise said.
Wise has also confirmed that anyone interested in buying their star man is in for disappointment.
"There are a lot of people looking at him but the problem they've got is he loves this club," the Leeds manager added.
"He likes working with us and the lads, and he likes the environment - that's important to a player."
