Viana wants Osasuna stay

Portuguese midfielder Hugo Viana has insisted that he wishes to stay at Osasuna despite talk of a return to Valencia. Viana has only chalked up 84 minutes of action this season.

  • Viana admits that he has held talks with coach Cuco Ziganda, but insisted that he has never considered being asked to be allowed to return to Valencia.



    "It is true that I have spoken to Ziganda, but I have not said that I want to leave," he explained.



    "I did not ask him anything as we just talked about my situation. I have a contract until June 30 and I am going to complete it.



    "I would never leave a sinking ship."
