Mourinho has reportedly agreed to takeover the managerial role at Manchester United at the end of the season.
The Portuguese head coach has been heavily linked with the Old Trafford job since his dismissal from Chelsea in December.
According to Football Insider, the 53-year-old has reached an agreement over a £48m deal, and will replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the summer.
It is added that the 'Special One' will earn wages in excess of £300,000-a-week during his three-year contract at the Mancunian giants.
Manchester United have had a below-par season under Van Gaal, and currently find themselves fifth in the Premier League.
