Sergio Romero to leave Man Utd

20 February 2016 - 17:03

Argentina international Sergio Romero will reportedly head out of Manchester United at the end of the season.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder

  • The 28-year-old linked up with the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer with a view to playing a regular role in the first-team.

However, he has since then played second fiddle to David de Gea, who secured his long-term future at Old Trafford earlier this campaign.

According to The Express, the former Sampdoria man will seek a fresh move from Old Trafford next season even if David de Gea makes his way to Real Madrid.

Romero has made just six appearances for the Red Devils this term.
