Inter want Darmian in Icardi deal

Manchester United could their hands on Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi this summer, provided they offer Matteo Darmian as part of the deal.

The Argentina international is said to be United's primary target as they seek to rebuild their attack front for next season.

According to Metro, the Nerazzurri would be willing to give in their star asset, if they are to be offered Darmian as makeweight in the proposed deal.

Darmian, who is mainly deployed across the defence, has had a tough debut season in the Premier League.

Icardi is currently valued at around &pound25m at Inter.
