Manchester United are reported to be interested in a summer deal for Real Madrid playmaker Toni Kroos. The 26-year-old is believed to have snubbed the Red Devils to join his current side from Bayern Munich in 2014.
The Star reports that the German international is eager to find a fresh challenge from the Bernabeu following the club's league struggles this term.
It is added that the player will be allowed to leave the Capital outfit, provided any club matches their £40m asking price.
