Man Utd, Porto to battle for Rafa Silva

29 March 2016 - 08:14

Manchester United and Porto will reportedly fight it out for the services of SC Braga midfielder Rafa Silva. The 22-year-old has been the stand-out performer for the Primeira Liga outfit, who are currently vying for a European qualification place.

  • Silva had been the subject of interest from United last winter, but a deal failed to materialise with Braga unwilling to offload their prized asset midway through the campaign.

TalkSPORT now claims that the Mancunian giants may not have an easy path to Silva with Porto set to launch a bid of their own for the talented playmaker.

Silva, who has three years left on his current contract, has notched nine goals and eight assists for Braga this campaign.
