Man United eye Ronaldo return

Manchester United have reportedly been told that they can sign Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo.

  • Ronaldo previously played for Man United and the 31 year old could resign for as little as £48 million. The 3 time FIFA Ballon d'Or winner started his career at Sporting in Portugal, but after impressing in a friendly against them Ronaldo joined Man United for £12 million.

    Ronaldo impressed in England and ended up playing 196 games for the Red Devils, and scoring 84 goals. His best season was in England was the 2007- 2008 campaign, where he scored 42 goals in all competitions. Ahead of the 2009 season Real Madrid paid a record £80 million to lure Ronaldo to them. It is here where he has played his best football.

    However he has often hinted to a return to Old trafford, and has often said he would like to return. Well this would be the perfect time, at 31 he is not too old and would still be a great player. Man United fans would love to see him back, and he could just be one of many signings as Man United look to rebuild their squad.
