Southampton are reportedly interested in resigning Alex Oxlade Chamberlain in the summer.
It has been thought that current Saints defender Jose Fonte is trying to persuade the 22 year old to rejoin Southampton. The English international was one of the first major talents to come through the Southhampton youth academy and made his debut aged just 17. He impressed Arsenal and they snapped him up for around £15 million. However he has never been first choice at Arsenal and his time there has been riddled by injurys which meant he never could quite show his full potential. Southampton would have to pay a lot for him but the new TV deal mean it is certainly a possibility.
