Manchester United have yet to decide on the future of midfielder Michael Carrick, The Mail claims. The 34-year-old is in the final months of his contract at Old Trafford.
Carrick has had a decent spell in the first-team despite the club's struggles to keep aloft in the title challenge.
According to The Mail, the 34-year-old is eager to extend his stay at the Mancunian giants despite the club's hierarchy being reluctant to offer him a new contract.
The England international is likely to find a new club in England, should he fail to secure a new deal at United.
League rivals Arsenal have been recently linked with the combative midfielder.
