Lazio will reportedly revive their interest in Sunderland forward Fabio Borini at the end of the season. The Serie A side had been linked with a move for the Italian before he made his way to Sunderland from Liverpool last year.
Since then, Borini has had an average run for the Black Cats, who are currently facing a massive battle to beat the drop.
Italian outlet Messaggero reveals that the Capital outfit are eager to renew their interest in the former Roma man despite his lack of goals during the current campaign.
The move comes about with former German international Miroslav Klose likely to announce his retirement in the summer.
Borini has netted just three league goals for the Black Cats this term.
