Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has reportedly agreed to join league rivals Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The German international has just a year left on his BVB contract and this has led to claims that he could pursue a fresh challenge in the summer.
According to Bild, Bayern have managed to convince Hummels to return to the club where he began his footballing career.
Adding to this, the Bavarian giants are prepared to pay fee of around £25m for the centre-back once the transfer window reopens in July.
Hummels is likely to provide the ideal boost to the Bundesliga holders, who have a dismal spell at the back this season.
The 27-year-old made two appearances for Bayern during his previous stint between 2006 and 2008.
