Premier League toppers Leicester City are set to rival Southampton in the race to sign Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena. The 21-year-old is expected to seek greener pastures once his contract expires in the summer.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is expected to bring in a new holding midfielder with N'Golo Kante more likely to link up with a top European club next season.
According to The Mail, the East Midlands side are looking to offer a contract to Vilhena, who is said to be eyeing a move to a fresh league.
However, the Foxes will face stiff competition from the Saints, whose manager Ronald Koeman has had a good association with Vilhena in the past.
Vilhena has yet to make a senior appearance for the Netherlands.
