The Spanish media is reporting that Real Madrid have moved a step closer to signing a trio of Dutch players. The players linked are Arjen Robben; with who Real Madrid have battled with Chelsea over the summer, Royston Drenthe of Feyenoord and Wesley Sneijder of Ajax.
Real Madrid could be set to spend up to £38m to complete all three switches as Bernd Schuster is keen to add further new faces to his star-studded squad.
Drenthe too has been linked all summer with a move to Madrid and played in the recent Port of Rotterdam tournament despite rumours of the £9m move. Wesley Sneijder could cost up to £15m from Ajax Amsterdam.
