Everton are reportedly planning a bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino following doubts over the future of Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku, 23, is said to be eyeing a fresh move after his goals were not sufficient to guide the Toffees to a European qualification spot.

The Sun says the Toffees are likely to submit a &pound12m bid for Berahino as they look helpless in their bid to keep hold of their star asset.

League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City are also interested in a summer deal for the Burundian-born footballer.

The Toffees have had a dismal season by their standards ending up in 11th with 47 points.
