Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have tabled a formal bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette. The move comes about after West Ham United lodged an offer of their own to secure the Frenchman's signature.
Lacazette, 24, has caught the eye of several European clubs following yet another impressive campaign in the French league.
According to talkSPORT, Les Parisiens are known to have revived their interest in the player after it emerged that the Hammers had placed a £31m offer for his services.
The French giants are willing to pay as much as £40m as they bid to lure Lacazette to Parc des Princes next season.
Lacazette amassed 23 goals in all competitions for Les Gones last season.
