Arsenal are believed to be preparing a move for French midfielder Moussa Sissoko following Newcastle United's relegation to the Championship.
Sissoko, 26, is expected to seek fresh pastures elsewhere as he is not keen on plying his trade in the second tier of English football.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are planning a summer offer for the France international, who has been a strong hold in the Magpies' midfield in recent seasons.
