Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is seemingly confident of wrapping up a cut-price deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze. The World Cup winner has been tipped to leave the Allianz Arena after his reduced playing time last season.
The Sun says the Reds are eager to bring the 23-year-old to Anfield ahead of this summer's European championships in France.
It is added that the club will look to get the player at a knockdown price of around £20m, given his struggles at Munich over the past year.
The move will see Gotze reunited with his former Borussia Dortmund manager in Klopp.
Gotze made just 11 league starts for the Bavarian giants through the 2015/16 campaign.
