German star Mezut Ozil is apparently open to extending his stay at Arsenal beyond the summer of 2018. The 27-year-old had a stellar season with the Gunners but it was not enough to guide them to the long-awaited league title.
Recent speculation suggested that the World Cup winner could be considering his future at the Emirates amid speculated interest from the likes of Barcelona and Juventus.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the player is not looking to leave the North London giants, and will ink a new long-term deal once he returns from this summer's European championships.
Ozil will seek to play a crucial role for Germany as they aim to end their 20-year wait for the European crown.
