Crystal Palace join Ryan Mason race

27 May 2016 - 13:19

Crystal Palace look set to rival Bournemouth in the chase to sign Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason. The one-time England international is on the search for a new challenge after he fell below the pecking-order at White Hart Lane.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • Mason penned a five-and-half-year contract in January 2015, and signs were he could play a keen role in the club's progress.

However, with the emergence of Dele Alli and the form of Dembele, he found himself surplus to requirements, starting in just six league games during the previous campaign.

According to The London Evening Standard, the 24-year-old could have few offers to choose from with the Eagles being the latest side to express interest in his services.

Spurs currently value Mason at around &pound10m.
