Liverpool have revived their interest in Udinese playmaker Piotr Zielinski. The Reds were rebuffed in their chase for the player last month after he failed to receive assurances over a regular first-team role.
Zielinski, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Empoli, where he has racked an admirable tally of 62 appearances.
According to The Liverpool Echo, the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been on contact with the 21-year-old in recent days to guarantee him sufficient playing time during the coming season.
The Reds will have to pay a fee of around £9.5m to land the player's signature in the transfer window.
Italian giants Napoli have also expressed interest in signing the Poland international.
